Hyperhidrosis due to food allergies, mineral deficiency

Recommended Posts

I went through all the regular treatments without luck before having the ETS surgery done. It went well and I have no regrets. Years later my hyperhidrosis slowly began creeping back, though not as badly as before.

In my case, it was being caused by an undiagnosed gastrointestinal condition called Celiac disease, causing food allergies and mineral deficiency. I've since changed my diet and take supplements for B vitamins, folic acid, magnesium, and other minerals. Seems to be doing the trick.

I've always insisted that hyperhidrosis must be a symptom of something else, this seems to confirm it.
