  1. I live in ohio. and would be willing to meet up with anyone or a group to talk. I haven't been on this website for a while. I've learned to deal with it, and don't let blushing or anyone take over my thoughts.. discussion, fairness/ working hard, and freedom supercede looks/ turning red. -Tim
  2. There is a chatroom box on the side of this frappr map. You can map yourself and locate others who blush alot on this map. it is www.frappr.com/blushing . theres a couple dozen members, but we haven't scheduled anytimes to meet to chat so it's usually pretty dead. anyways, see ya
  3. Zoloft has really helped with reducing my blushing. I take 100 mg/day like nothin, and about a gradual month and a half or so, I could tell that my anxiety was lowered in stressed situations, therefore, less blushing. I hate taking medication, but if it helps me reduce obsessive thinking and anxiety, well then thats fine... ssris are not a "buzz" drug, so don't be to anxious about "feeling different". You'll just know in situations where.. hey... I really should've blushed back there.. and if I do .. I don't care. no drug will zap or cancel out anything, but there are medications and ways of thinking that help you reduce anxiety. go see a psychiatrist or a psychiatric nurse that can both prescribe medication. A nurse can usually see you in a month-which is good. take em at night if it makes you sleepy, but at least a half an hour or more before bed " not right before bed" .. then when your used to it, you can switch it to mornings. I feel it is my obligation to tell other people who blush alot of anything that helps me, and not to remind them of what hurts me. noone can safely stop blushing, and nor do I want to end it.. If you don't show some shame then your not the kind of person i wanna hang out with anyway

  5. my ears flush the worst on me and on many people.. Has anyone considered botox injections on the ears and lobes.. since botox works better in localized areas? that would greatly reduce the overall redness when flushed

  7. Any experiences with synchrorose. It comes from the UK, so some of you might already know about it.. Just wondering about it before I buy the bottles for 40-80 dollars a bottle. I've never been a good candidate for lotions and topical remedies-seems to bother my flushing than it helps.
  8. I thought low dose accutane was suppost to help with rhynophyma.and large pores on your nose.. If not, I won't take it.. I'm going to my dermatologist in a couple of weeks.
  9. no, it didn't help, actually hurt me.. if anything... but give it a try if you wanna talk to a psych and teach him/her some things,

  13. the second time i went to a psychiatrist about blushing, he told me i had social anxiety, and it may be an obsessive compulsive thought. So far psychiatrists and dermatologists have been a waste of time and money. I feel like I'm educating them about conditions.
