Hello every one .
I suffer from HH since i was about 14 on my face and under arms. I use odaban under arms since i was 17. I am now 20 and it does the job perfectly.
Up until about 6 months ago i hadnt found any thing to get rid of the HH on my face. Until i came across a few sites and decided to order the secure wipes 2 %, and they work fantastic.
I dont sweat one bit when i apply the wipe. I apply one every morning just before i am going out. I also apply a little bit of odaban on my forehead. Soon i am going to try 1 wipe every 2 days.
One question i have tho, is there any alternative to the secure wipes ? Becuase they are very costly and i am a student. I buy them every month but realisticlly i cant afford them.
I have read one post some where that someone is using the solution from the wipes in a bottle form ? Where can i purchase that ? How much does it cost ?
I live in England, UK by the way. Hope this helps some people out there. |

hey man,
uk user here
i have pretty bad HH on the face and ordered the secure pads from pharmacy.ca. they sure work! but as the pads dry out over time they lose effectiveness. also i have noticed that they do lose effectiveness over time in using them, perhaps your skin gets used to them or something but depends on person i guess.
anyway you can buy the stuff in bottle form (just request it on order foem) but for same price! from pharmacy.ca, its expensive yes but at least it goes some way to helping my HH on my face. Bought two bottles and didn;t get stugf with customs charges. works well although not using it much at the mo only when i need to.

no worries,
if you have used odaban it works sam eway, i.e. spray on fingers and apply to area.
careful witht he pads as i ordered a few pots and even though they weren;t opened they did seem drier and less effective.
try the face saver gel also! from neatfeat.co.nz, quick option if you run out and need the backup! |

I suffered from profuse sweating of the face for 30 years, I am now 49! In certain social situations, I sweat profusely. I am successful in business and I have a wife and 3 kids, but I am always anxious about going out socially. Over the past 30 years I have been on many medications, currently I am on Prozac and Klonopin. I have been through every therapy possible. Seen the best pyschopharmicologists at Columbia, etc etc etc!
I am very upset and at the same time excited. Not 1 doctor over the 30 years ever told me that my problem had a name to it. I was watching tv the other week and I saw a report on botox being used for excessive sweating. I went on the internet and typed in "botox for excessive sweating" and I saw for the 1st time the word "HYPERHIDROSIS". Well I can only tell you guys that I have been on the internet a whole lot researching Hyperhidrosis.
I've read all about ETS and even made an appointment for a consultation at Columbia. The more I read about ETS, the less I want it because of the side effects of compensatory sweating. Even with the clamping method.
I read on this site about using Secure pads, I ordered them from a pharmacy in Canada, but haven't yet recieved them. I did order and recieved Maxim wipes and also solution. The wipes seemed dried out, but the solution i've been trying for about 3 days now. I was in a social situation yesterday at my synaquage. There must have been about 150 people there and it was warm in the room. I felt like I was hot and about to sweat, but the Maxim did help. I did not pour sweat. I felt perspiration on my upper lip, I have a mustache and could not put the Maxim on this part of my face, but it wasn't bad. I don't know, I have to get used to the idea of putting the deordorant on every day, if it works, it will be worth it. Still wish that the ETS had no side effects.
I look forward to trying the Secure pads as soon as they come.
I just can't believe that after 30 years, I'm just finding out about these treatments.
I'll stay in touch. Thanks, Sweaty |

HI
I received the secure wipes about a week ago. They definetly help in stressfull situations. I was in one situation where I was in a hall with a lot of people, it was warm. My head felt hot, but no sweat was coming from my forehead. I could feel sweat around my hairline and on parts of my face, although it wasn't that bad.
So the next time, which was on Saturday, Iwas in a crowd I told myself that maybe I should use more than 1 pad the night before. I used 4 pads, I messaged it into my hairline, on my face , my forehead, etc. The next morning, my mouth was very dry, and my eyes were also dry. I must say I did not notice much sweat! i did get the very hot feeling. I will not use 4 pads again, I'll stick to 1 pad, it does help. I'm using the 2% pads.
Does anyone know if there are any dangerous side effects from the solution in the Secure Pads. I hope that the soulution is harmless.
